Jared Tauber Named to Red Cross Board
“I am excited and honored to serve on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross NWIN Chapter. The amount of support the American Red Cross provides to those in need is invaluable,” Jared said in a recent statement.
Tauber Law recently attended the grand opening for JAKs warehouse and were fortunate to be able to sponsor a go-kart. We congratulate the owners on their opening and wish them the best!
On October 13, 2012, our firm attended the Franciscan Alliance Sixth Annual Northern Indiana Region Gala at the Hilton Chicago Hotel. Pictured above from left to right is our client, Alan Krygier, Jared Tauber, Rhett Tauber, and Michael Schneider. We thank First Financial Bank for inviting us to this lovely event.
Attorney Jared Tauber is currently training the Under 12 Highland Lightning girls’ soccer team. The team is midway through the year and the players are improving every week. On September 19, 2012, Attorney Tara Tauber was a guest speaker at Valparaiso University Law School in Professor Seymour Moskowitz’s Family Law class. The topic of the discussion was adoption law. Many issues regarding adoption and adoption law were discussed, including problems and pitfalls to watch for, relevant statutes regarding adoption, providing notice to birth parents and obtaining consent, and the process of working with adoptive families and birth parents alike. A special guest appearance by Attorney Tauber’s daughter, Valparaiso University Law School Class of 2036, was also included in the discussion.
On August 4, 2012, Tauber Law Offices sponsored the Catholic Charities Adoption Picnic held at Wicker Park in Highland, Indiana. The picnic is held annually to unite families who are waiting to adopt a child with families who have previously adopted one or more children. It is the perfect opportunity for families to come and share their stories with others, and those families provide hope and comfort to families who are still waiting for a child. It also reconnects families and allows everyone to watch the children grow. A fun time was had by all!
For more information on adoption, contact Attorney Tara Tauber at 219.865.6666 or Joanne Pivarnik at Catholic Charities at 219.844.4883.
